My favourite service that I provide is the designing logos for new and existing companies that just need a new look.

I offer a professional and competitive service, and will work to the best of my ability, for as long as I have to, to provide a shiny new identity for Limited companies, partnerships and sole traders alike.

What do you get?

For a competitive price, I will work to design the perfect logo for your business of a high enough standard to use for a variety of purposes:

• Website
• Printing…
  • Business Cards
  • Leaflets/Brochures
  • T-shirts etc
• Large scale, i.e. signs for your office/shop

The logo itself will be provided in a number of formats, as required:

• Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) for original layered vector image- can be resized to tiny or huge for any purpose, and saved to most file types
• Adobe Photoshop file (.psd), if you prefer a non-vector image to save as any file type
• .PNG images for website use – has a transparent background, so no white box around your logo if you have a gradient background on your site
• High quality .JPEG or .GIF images for printing

If you choose me to perfect your logo design, I will include a box of 50 (large) or 100 (small) professionally printed business cards that you can choose a design for. The price for this will be included in the cost of the new logo, and should you fall in love with them, you can always come back for more business cards. This is just one of the little extras that I like to do to make sure my clients love my work as much as I do.

How does the process work?

Firstly, we need to have a chat about what sort of thing you’re after. It’s easier to get a design you love first time round if we discuss ideas and preferences beforehand, so that I know what you love and why. The design needs to be appropriate to exactly what your business offers, so I need to know the inside details to get it perfect. I can then put together a few rough sketched designs to show you.

I’ll then go off and use my creative mind (and Adobe Illustrator CS5) to get cracking with text editing a vector mascots to create the vision we first put to paper. If you’re not happy with the design I develop, I will try again to meet your standards – as with all my services – because customer satisfaction is my number one guarantee.

Once we reach a design that we both love, I will send you a folder of all the file types you require, either by secure email or I can save them to a compact disc that can be posted to you. I will also keep all of the original files backed up in multiple safe locations in case you require a new copy, or the design to be edited.

How much will it cost?

As with most design projects, the price depends on the individual. Therefore, I cannot give a standard price due to the simple fact that every person and company is different. Everyone requires different levels of assistance to think and discuss the design, and some people are more picky than others and require tweaking of every finite detail (in which case I will spend more time on the logo to please you).

I charge a variable fee per design, depending on the complexity and number of hours spent. This fee can be estimated after our initial discussion, as I will have an idea of the complexity of the design and will know roughly how much work is required.

After this meeting, I will ask for a percentage down payment as a deposit. This is only for my security, as, understandably, I don’t want to spend weeks of my time on a design and you to then turn around and go to another firm once I have finished.
